Art for All. Come Aboard.
thMTHRshp gallery stands as a symbol of transformative representation. Established by Liz Jordan, thMTHRshp encapsulates her two-decade journey in arts, non-profit, and education, reflecting her steadfast dedication to artistic equity and fairness. Inspired by tenacious dual-career mother artists, Liz recognized the distinct challenges confronting women, mothers, and other underrepresented artists. She observed gifted artists grappling with the ‘multi-hustle’ dilemma and inequitable commission models.
At thMTHRshp, Liz revolutionized this paradigm, pioneering a 70-85% commission split that truly values artists. The gallery symbolizes more than art—it represents a commitment to wholly support artists, empowering them to immerse fully in their craft without financial hindrance.
Liz Jordan is the Founder and Director of thMTHRshp Gallery. Liz is a proud mama who has a BA in Art History from the University of Louisville and many years of gallery, non-profit, and education experience which inspired the concept for thMTHRshp. Liz met Founding Artist, Sarah Creasman Barnett, at a local park with their daughters in the middle of the pandemic. Sarah taught Liz about Motherhood Art and the idea for thMTHRshp was born! Liz loves connecting with and serving her local arts community in an authentic way through our Bright Lights Educational programming, along with reading, gardening, and hanging out with her family.
Christianne Green is the Artistic Director and Media Manager for thMTHRshp. Christianne is a multi-disciplinary artist and mother of two. She holds a BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and has experience as a gallerist and in Human Resources and Project Management. Christianne and Liz met at a park during the pandemic too! Christianne’s dedication to thMTHRshp’s mission to bring art to all in an inclusive and accessible way is evident and we are so happy to have her aboard!
