Courtney Miles Baraff
Courtney is a native Texan and a commercial/residential muralist and painter with works ranging from large outdoor installations to private luxury homes and educational institutions. This includes murals she designed and painted for thirteen Trader Joe’s stores throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Colorado.
For five years, Courtney ran an art gallery in Dallas. She is a founding member of Art Conspiracy, an organization which raises money for local art-based non-profits. She has taught art at both the college and high school levels, and continues to consult privately.
She often collaborates with her sister, Cara Johnston, creating murals or performing plays, including their original play “The Little Glass Slipper as Performed by the Queen of France and her Friends” which premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2021.
