Josh Samples is a floral sculptor, vertical garden designer, and immersive event artist based in London, Kentucky, where he founded Oak Hill Gardens, a 2.5-acre experiential garden venue, with his family in 2018. In 2026 he earned the "One of a Kind" Award at Art in Bloom at the Cincinnati Art Museum, one of five juried prizes among sixty designers nationwide. His commissions include vertical gardens for chef Sam Fore's TukTuk Sri Lankan Bites, Hermitage Farm's Barn 8, and chef Gavin Kaysen's Bellecour in Minneapolis, along with wearable floral sculpture unveiled at Minneapolis Fashion Week. A University of Kentucky graduate, he has trained in Paris, Seoul, and Brooklyn, most recently under floral artist Sue McLeary. Wherever his work travels, something of the Kentucky soil goes with it.
